Location and Venue
The summer school will be hosted by the Griffith University, Australia Gold Coast Campus located approximately 1 hour by train from Brisbane and the IGARSS'25 venue.
The area that became the Gold Coast was originally inhabited by the indigenous Yugambeh people.The Gold Coast is a major tourist destination with a sunny, subtropical climate and has become widely known for its surfing beaches (such as Surfers Paradise), high-rise dominated skyline, theme parks, nightlife, and rainforest hinterland.
Griffith University has about 50,000 students enrolled from more than 130 countries. The university has five campuses, one located at the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast campus is located in the Gold Coast suburb of Southport. Set in native bushland, on the land of the Aboriginal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples, this campus hosts over 19,000 students.

Accommodation
Summer school participants should arrange separate accommodation as commuting from Brisbane will not be convenient.
A range of accommodations are available at Surfers Paradise with backpacker options for $35-$50 per night on Booking.com. A daily commute from Surfers Paradise to Griffith campus with the tram is needed. Throughout Queensland, the local transportation fare is 50 cents.
Accommodation is also available closer to the Griffith campus but comes with a higher cost.
