IDEA Panel: Being the bridge, breaking barriers in geosciences and remote sensing
Being part of the remote sensing community as a minority group presents many challenges. We face countless barriers that decrease our access to professional opportunities and recognition on the international stage. In this panel, the GRSS Inspire, Develop, Empower, Advance Program (IDEA) committee has invited speakers from different ethnicities to share their journeys and strengthen their voices in our community. They will discuss the obstacles they have had in their careers and highlight how their engagement with IEEE GRSS has profoundly shaped their personal and professional lives. Together, we can inspire change and pave the way for future generations in our field, no matter where they come from.
