Brisbane City Hall is a 17 minute walk (1.2 km/0.75mi) from the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Specific directions are as follows:

  • Head northwest on Merivale St/State Route 10 toward Melbourne St
  • Turn right onto Fish Ln
  • Turn right onto Grey St
  • Turn left onto Melbourne St
  • Continue onto Victoria Brg
  • Continue onto Queen St
  • Turn left onto N Quay
  • Turn right onto Adelaide St
  • Destination will be on the left
Daily Mini-Marathon

Start your day with a refreshing walk or jog along one of Brisbane's most scenic routes!

Join fellow IGARSS 2025 attendees for a Daily Mini-Marathon taking place Tuesday through Friday, 5-8 August, from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The route follows a round-trip path along South Bank, the Botanic Gardens, and the new Kangaroo Point Bridge, covering approximately 5 kilometers (~70 minutes at a walking pace) as depicted in the photo.

  • Meeting Point: ANZ Festival Garden (G2FC+7V South Brisbane, Queensland), located in front of the South Bank Piazza — just a 5-minute walk from the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC)
  • Time: Please arrive by 5:55 AM to begin promptly at 6:00 AM
  • Distance: ~5 km loop, ending back at the starting point

You'll return with plenty of time to prepare for the first conference session of the day. All fitness levels are welcome!

Table Tennis at IGARSS 2025

A table tennis setup will be available at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) throughout the conference for anyone interested in playing during break times each day.

  • Location: Plaza: Plaza Ballroom
  • How to Participate: Sign up on the sign-up sheet located beside the table tennis table on Monday, the first day of the conference.

Winners will be recognized and awarded at the end of the competition session. All skill levels are welcome — come for fun, friendly rivalry, and great company!
